LANKAS Family Camp

The Lithuanian community in Seattle invites you to a fun-filled week sharing the richness of our heritage with our families.

Children ages 1 to 18 enjoy spending the week with their family and friends, learning Lithuanian singing, dancing, crafts, cooking, language, history, geography, sports, and more.

Camp Dates: Always during the 3rd week of August. For 2009 the dates are Monday, August 17th - Friday, August 21st.

Please Plan to Arrive: Sunday, August 16th after 6:00 p.m.

Plan to Leave: Saturday, August 22nd by noon, after clean-up.

Sign-up Deadline:  Please contact Jurate at hijurate@hotmail.com or 206-715-06-22 by July 1st if you are coming. Make sure to sign up for a class or a task.

Reminder: The success of this experience depends on the active participation of each family in planning and running activities. Please contact the Camp Director by July 1st to help out with the planning of the classes. We require an accountable adult to be present for each child. Every family will be expected to help clean the campground on Saturday morning.
