LANKAS Family Camp

The Lithuanian community in Seattle invites you to a fun-filled week sharing the richness of our heritage with our families.

Children ages 1 to 18 enjoy spending the week with their family and friends, learning Lithuanian singing, dancing, crafts, cooking, language, history, geography, sports, and more.

Camp Dates: Always during the 3rd week of August. For 2010 the dates are Monday, August 16th - Friday, August 20.

Please Plan to Arrive: Sunday, August 15th after 6:00 p.m.

Plan to Leave: Saturday, August 21st by noon, after clean-up.

More information or to sign-up:  Please email camp director Jurate Audejaitiene at camp_lankas@hotmail.com as soon as possible if you are coming. Make sure to sign up for a class or a task after you get registration packet.

Camp Fees: $125.00 per person (4 and older) plus separate check of $100.00 cleaning fee (returned if you stay for a Saturday clean-up).

Reminder: The success of this experience depends on the active participation of each family in planning and running activities. Please contact the Camp Director by July 1st to help out with the planning of the classes. We require an accountable adult to be present for each child. Every family will be expected to help clean the campground on Saturday morning.
